While it is in the garage
See what is happening, while it is happening
The mechanic posts as they work, and you watch it land on the timeline. Updates appear as they are posted, usually within seconds. Five kinds of entry make up a job.
Status
On the ramp, waiting for parts, road test. Where your car is without ringing anyone.
Photo
Including the intake photos taken at drop-off. The evidence half of the record.
Part fitted
Brake pads, oil filter, each one written in the moment it goes on.
Inspection
A plain pass, watch or urgent result, with the reason.
Advice
Something recommended that you decided against, recorded either way.
When the job closes, the mechanic adds the final mileage, a plain-language summary and when the next service is due. That entry is frozen into the car’s history and nobody can change it afterwards. Not the garage, not you, not us.
Two people, one record
Built twice, for two very different pairs of hands
The owner is on their phone, relaxed, wanting to know what is happening to their car. The mechanic is standing up, one hand free, in bad light, wanting to be back under the car in ten seconds. These should not feel like the same app wearing the same clothes.

Your pipeline, already there
Every car you have serviced has a next-service date.
The record, totalled up
Everything the history knows, at a glance
Every car you own, what is due on each, and when. Service, insurance, licence and roadworthiness all come through the same reminder: 30 days out, 7 days out, and the day before.
For a workshop, every car you have serviced has a next-service date attached. That is a pipeline you already own, and you can see what is coming due before the phone rings.
How a reminder arrives
- 30 days outTime to book. Enough notice to pick a workshop and a day.
- 7 days outA nudge, if the first one was put off.
- The day beforeSo nothing due tomorrow is a surprise.
Reminders arrive by email or WhatsApp. You choose which in settings.
Why the record can be trusted
Hard to fake, on purpose
Nothing can be edited or deleted
Entries are permanent from the moment they are posted. By the garage, by you, by us. Corrections are added as new entries, so the original stays visible.
Every workshop is verified
We check a workshop is a real business before it can accept a single job.
Access is never permanent
A garage sees your car’s history only while it has an open job you approved. When the job closes, so does the access.
Every entry is signed
Who posted it, from which workshop, and when. On every single line.
Selling the car
You choose what the buyer sees
Full history is the default, and it is the one that gets you your asking price.
| Your choice | What the buyer gets |
|---|---|
| Full historydefault | Everything, from every previous owner |
| My ownership only | Only what happened while you owned the car |
| No history | The car’s details, and nothing else |
Withholding is not deleting
Nothing is ever erased. If you choose not to share, those records are hidden from that buyer, not gone, and they come back if the car is later sold on with full disclosure. There is no delete button, and there never will be.
A buyer is always told when history was withheld
They see “the seller chose not to share service history”, never a blank page. A car with nothing to report and a car hiding something must never look the same.
